VISION: The School of Life aims to educate and instruct students to successfully utilize their potential and skills.
The meaning of Soteria is deliverance, salvation, protection, and safety.
What is your next step after graduation?
The graduate may be experiencing a place called stuck, and not knowing what to do next. They may not know their options, nor have they made plans beyond high school to continue their education.
We recognize that circumstances and unpredictable changes happen in your life that causes you to put your educational goals on hold.
Regardless of your financial status, it is not too late to decide to return to school. Now is an excellent time to uncover your leadership potential and become a productive citizen.
Our purpose is to change undecided graduates into influential, responsible leaders. The student will decide their next step and set reachable life goals. It is up to you to take the following steps and attend the School of Life program. We have reserved a seat for you.
Life skills are necessary to help people function in social or emotional situations. They are skills needed daily to deal with life’s challenges and demands. Your life skills are the skills that you use effectively to communicate with people.

We will provide an innovative curriculum to motivate and prepare young adults for personal growth in everyday life. The students' journey towards personal development and empowerment starts with their teachers. Their guidance and support can be the turning point in their lives, igniting a spark within the students that will encourage them to reach new heights.
“THE SCHOOL OF LIFE PROGRAM”
"The School of Life Program is a synopsis of what the students will encounter during their young adult lives.
Here is an outline of the four classes that comprise the program.
- Coaching Class 101
Coaching Class 101 teaches Generation Z life skills and helps them become the best version of themselves.
- Health and Wellness Class 202
We will focus on our health by caring for our body, soul, and spirit.
- Public and Private Class 303
We will be vigilant about protecting ourselves from scammers at home, work, school, and public places.
- Financial Literacy Class 404
We will learn how to manage money, make investments, and learn about wealth management.
The requirements to qualify for the program:
- The Generation Zoomers (Gen Z), ages 18-28
- Must have graduated from high school
- Have no concrete plan for their future
- Not enrolled in school
- Unemployed
- Underemployed

If you are between 18 and 28, we request your presence. You fill out your information and make an appointment to obtain enrollment details.

Dr. Vernon Gates Biography
Dr. Vernon Gates worked for the Department of Family and Children Services for over twenty years. She retired and graduated with her Doctorate in Christian Counseling from Restoration Theological Seminary. She is currently certified with the Georgia Board for Christian Counselors and specializes in trauma, Domestic Violence, and Pastoral Counseling.
Director Vernon Gates established a summer camp program for the neighborhood children at Covenant Ministries. The camp provided the children with support, security, and direction while preparing them for the next school year. Part of the camp activities included field trips and special outings. The children met new friends and experienced new adventures by visiting places like Callaway Gardens. Meals were provided through the Bright from the Start Lunch program.
